Saskatoon Counselling for Trauma & Life Changes

Life doesn’t always unfold the way we expect. Some grief leaves lasting marks — moments of loss, experiences that overwhelmed your ability to cope, or chapters that shifted your sense of safety, identity, or direction. Other times, the change is less about what happened to you and more about the weight of transition itself: a new diagnosis, an unexpected breakup, a sudden move, or the slow unraveling of something you once depended on.

Whether you’re navigating past trauma or adjusting to a major life change, counselling offers a a steadying and safe space. Here in Saskatoon, we work with individuals to process difficult experiences, reclaim a sense of stability, and begin the slow, meaningful work of healing.

This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about walking with you as you come to make sense of what moving forward will mean and look like.

Trauma

Trauma can take many forms. It might be rooted in a single moment or the accumulation of many small, overwhelming experiences. You may find yourself feeling constantly on guard or vigilant, disconnected from your body, or struggling with intense emotions that seem to come out of nowhere. It can affect how you relate to others, how you see yourself, and how safe you feel in the world.

Trauma counselling is about creating a space where your story can be held with care. In our work together, we move gently, at your pace, building safety, exploring your experiences, and helping you reconnect with a sense of agency and wholeness. You don’t need to have all the words. Just bring yourself. It is our firm belief that trauma counselling can be gentle while still being transformative.

If you’re looking for trauma-informed support in Saskatoon, I’m here to walk with you.

Life Transitions

Change, even when chosen, can bring up a mix of emotions—excitement, fear, grief, uncertainty. Whether you’re starting something new or letting go of something familiar, life transitions often ask us to rewrite the story we’ve been living. That process can feel disorienting, even when we know it’s time for something to shift.

In counselling, we can slow things down and explore what this change means for you. Together, we’ll make space for what’s ending, what’s beginning, and everything in between. It’s okay to not have it all figured out.

If you're navigating a life transition and need someone to walk alongside you, support is here when you're ready.

Grief and Loss

Grief shows up in many ways. It might follow the death of a loved one, the loss of a relationship, a life you thought you’d have, or even a version of yourself you’ve had to let go. It doesn’t follow a timeline, and it rarely moves in a straight line. Some days it feels heavy and raw. Other days, it lingers quietly in the background.

Counselling offers space to honour what you’ve lost and begin to make sense of life in its absence. There’s no need to rush through it or find the perfect words. Whether your grief experience is new or a weight that you have been carrying for some time, you are welcome here.

If you’re looking for grief support in Saskatoon, we're here for you.
